Prompt generators vs. your photo
| Compare | Text-prompt generators | Your photo, here |
|---|---|---|
| What you start with | A sentence you have to write | A photo you already have |
| Who is on the page | A generic character | Your kid, your dog, your house |
| Gift value | Nice for a rainy afternoon | Something grandparents keep |
| Characters and brands | Often copies famous characters | Never: your own people and places only |
| Text on the page | Misspelled AI lettering | Names drawn by us, always spelled right |
Why we left out the prompt box
Typing “a cute dinosaur” gets you a cute dinosaur, the same one a thousand other people got. That is fine, and there are good free sites for it. What none of them can do is put your daughter on the page, with her actual bangs and her favorite striped shirt.
So this generator has no text box at all. You choose what is in the photo (a kid, a family, a pet, a house, a toy or a couple), you pick the line weight, and we generate the page from the photo. That keeps it fast for parents at the end of a long day, and it keeps the page about the people you love.
The “Cartoon me” style
Some kids love seeing themselves drawn like a character from their favorite picture book. “Cartoon me” redraws people with slightly bigger heads and simpler shapes, while keeping the hairstyle, glasses, freckles and clothes that make them recognizable. It is a hit for birthday party favors and for siblings who each want their own page.
Add a name or a message such as “Happy Birthday, Leo!” and we draw it under the picture in big hollow letters, ready to color. Changing the name never costs a page.
Questions about this
Can I type what I want instead of uploading a photo?
No. This generator only works from your own photos, so every page shows real people, pets and places. For invented scenes, a text-prompt generator is the better tool.
Can I make a page of a famous character for a party theme?
No. We do not draw copyrighted characters, brands or celebrities. A “Cartoon me” page of the birthday kid with their name usually goes over even better.
Is the generator free?
You get 1 free page a day and 3 more with your email. Packs start at $5.99 for 10 pages, with no subscription.
